Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actress and member of SSC's board since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director of the recently created theatre company Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. Also, she was the producer Costume/set designer, music director and composer for SSC while she served as its Artistic Director. While she was usually the leader of the actors' ensemble, during the final year of her tenure, she began her career as a director (and lighting designer) for the SSC's King Lear. Post and his poet wife Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her two brothers. Las Lomas High School was where she enrolled and played soccer. The school she attended briefly was Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Personally, Post was formerly married with Stephen Knox. From 1982, she's been engaged to writer and actor Michael A. Ross with who has twin daughters. Post's career as an actress, wife and mother is an excellent example for Hollywood.
